Help me choose soap for my workplace
Help Me Choose Soap for the Workplace
Liquid or foam? Bulk-fill or sealed pouches? Alex & Alex will help match the soap to your dispenser and your workplace. No soap opera required.
Good hand soap starts with the right system
Bulk-fill dispensers have a reservoir you refill from a larger bottle. Sealed pouch or cartridge systems use a replacement refill made for a particular dispenser. A refill that looks similar may still have the wrong connector or pump.
Liquid or foaming soap?
Foaming soap uses a compatible pump to mix air into the dose, so a little goes a long way. Liquid soap needs a liquid pump. Do not pour ordinary liquid soap into a foam dispenser or dilute it to try to make it work.
Compare cost per wash
Divide the refill cost by its usable doses, then consider how many doses people actually use. Allow for refill time, leftover soap, packaging and dispenser cost. The cheapest bottle is not always the cheapest hand wash.
Refill with care
Follow the dispenser maker's cleaning and refill instructions. Avoid topping up old soap or mixing products. Clean and dry reusable reservoirs as instructed before refilling. Sealed refills reduce handling of the soap; whether the pump is replaced depends on the system.
Match your workplace requirements
For kitchens, food production or clinical workplaces, match the product to your site's hygiene requirements. Fragrance-free and antibacterial are separate features: check both when needed.
Practical Sustainability™: compare suitable products by their verified environmental credentials, packaging and actual use. A lower-waste choice still needs to work for your team.
